Sassy, the Desert Divas have been singing together for more than four years. How they got together was somewhat of a miracle! As a favor to a friend in the music business they came together to put on a one hour show at the Arizona State Fair in October, 2001 for one night only. They went into rehearsal for less than two weeks and put on such a great performance at the Fair that many in the audience came up afterwards and asked where they could purchase Sassy’s CD. The audience loved them! Of course, they didn't have a CD then, they were only going to be together for that one evening. However, it wasn’t long before they were in the studio recording the one hour show they did at the Arizona State Fair and they called it “One Night Only”.
Right from the very start they called themselves Sassy and began singing in a variety of venues around the Greater Phoenix Area and in the spring of 2003 Sassy even went on a concert tour to New York. That was a thrill of a lifetime!
